Kathleen Jones lives in Newberg, Oregon, in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley. She draws inspiration from nature and hiking done throughout the northwest.

Artists which have influenced her the most include Gerard Richter and Claude Monet.

Jones went to George Fox University, majoring in Studio Arts. She has also taken art classes sporadically throughout the years.

"I've been an artist all my life" says Jones, "working in a variety of media. These include stained glass and mosaics (which I also taught), drawing, pottery, photography, set design, interior, landscape, and floral design. When I started painting in oils, I felt I had found the medium which most defines me."

Her paintings are at Art Elements Gallery, the Allison Inn & Spa, and Providence Newberg Hospital. See the events calendar for upcoming shows.
